Ultimate CB7 Paint Code Guide

OK, first off let's start with this:

All paint codes for Honda's are located in the door jam. The highlighted part displays the color code. These codes can contain both letters, dashes, and numbers. This is a photo of a real label from an actual Honda Vehicle.


Here is a list of every paint color name, code, and what years they came on (this is based on my research and may or may not be 100% accurate, although it is to my knowledge):

what's your paint code? i have found thats it VERY hard to get a 100% accurate chart and will most likely take a few monthes to work out any minor inconsistencies. Let me know what your paint code is so i can verify, thanks

your paint matches your year

*edit* this color by Honda is called Green Met., but PPG offers it under the name Hampshire Green. I'm not sure who's correct on this, but i will find out for sure

*second edit* also, there were two colors, BG-26M and BG-26M-3. I think this has something to do with new formula for the paint meaning honda changed the properties of the color mid-year enough to warrant a new designation (i.e. added a different tint, flake, or pearl additive). I wil lresearch this further
