    EXT: Si-T Bumper lights

Here is a poorman's way of making Si-T bumper lights.

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that you mess up. I am not responsible is you stabb/burn/harm yourself in any way when attempting this modification.

    Parts Needed:
    92-93 Clear bumper lenses (ebay,etc.)
    90-91 OEM bumper lenses
A tube of RTV in the color of your choice (I used Clear)

    Tools Required:
    Small screwdrivers
    Pick (Optional)
    Hammer (Optional)
    Oven
    Cookie sheet
    Oven Mitts

Step 1: Seperate the lense(NO PICTURES)
Take your 90-91 bumper lenses and remove the amber reflector. You can bake the lights if you want. Mine had broken tabs, so i used and hammer and hit around the sealed area to break the lenses apart.

Step 2: Remove the amber reflector
Once apart, you can continue breaking the light or pull outward on the lense sides and pull the amber reflector out. ( it is held in by two tabs on opposite corners)

Once removed you will have this:

Step 3: Baking the Clear lenses
Preheat the oven to 200*. Place the lenses on a cookie sheet that is layered with oven mitts (this is to prevent melting).

Place the lenses in the oven for atleast 5 minutes. I just kept check every couple of minutes to make sure melting did not occur.
Once they are hot enough to seperate, Use the pick tool or screwdriver to help get a gap to pry with. Be EXTREMELY careful when prying. Most notably when you come to the curved area.
Once apart, They will look like this.
    <The G-Man.

Step 4: Inserting the Amber corner.
You will notice that reflector is slightly larger than the lense. you can dremel this down to make a nicer fit, I just pushed mine down in. It bulged a bit, but the silicon takes care of that.

Step 5: Seal and let sit
Once done, put a bead of silicon around the clear part of the lense. Press them together and either tape them together or bear hug them. Once a bond has been made, let them sit over night and check for any more openings in the morning. Add additional silicon if needed.

Last, Enjoy your new ricer front end

        9293 don't have a little diffuser in them ?

If they did you could just swap lenses.
        wat?

To be honest, i have never opened up 92-93 stock lenses, i and wasn't paying atenttion when looking at them.

The ebay lights actually had the correct indentions for a reflector. I found that interesting.

o0o0, so brave to open up the lenses.

Iīm debating whether to do it your way and risk cracking the lense or just dremeling above the bumper light and sliding them in from the top.

Car looks a lot nicer with stock headlights too, way to go.

Im not going to lie, I cracked the lenses, but it is not noticable. I never thought about dremeling it. It's all about getting them hot enough.

Nice job! I thought about this kind of setup but didn't want to buy some 9091 parts to make it.

OEM 9293 does NOT have any of the diffuser/reflector plates, at least, mine didn't.

Nope, no diffuser of any sorts in the stock ones. The lens is the acts as the diffuser.

That picture makes me look really funny.
