ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Where can I snake the 0 gauge into the car?!

I had a 4 gauge kit but upgraded...and now i cant seem to put through the 0 gauge wiring through the passenger firewall. Can anyone suggest any other 'sweet spots'?

Left Hand Drive or Right Hand Drive? On my RHD when I put my 2 gauge through a hole just beside the throttle cable and under the fusebox, and fitted a thicker rubber grommet for extra protection. Maybe LHD the same? Other wise, you could always make a new hole and go through that

when i install, i drill a hole through the clutch plate.

what makes you think that you need something bigger than 4 guage?

how many amps, whats the fuse ratings on each amp?
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I'm running my 0 gauge AND 4 gauge wire through the passenger side of the firewall. There is a small grommet above the carpeting over the passenger side foot area.

x2 I've got a 6 gauge wire, oil pressure line, and something else I think running through that grommet. With plenty room for more.

Just ran my 4 gauge through it the other day. Go to the passenger side, lift up the carpet and there will be a grommet above the computer. Plenty of room, I cut a hole in the grommet so it would be snug.

its really not that hard, just pull back the carpet, and you'll see it already cut out with a black rubber plug.

on my 93 ex there is a plastic plug on the passenger side that just pops right out. Just pull back the carpet a little and you should see it, it popped out pretty easily to.

Seriously, from an electrical standpoint unless you're pulling 100+AMPs, 0-gauge is not necessary at all.
