    Leaky valve cover

my car has been having trouble starting up lately in the heat..i thought maybe it was my fuel injectors, but i checked my spark plugs and oh boy...lots o' oil. im going to get new spark plugs today, and im going to order a new valve cover, but until the valve cover comes in, is there a temporary fix so i dont ruin the new plugs, or should i just wait until i get the cover? and what kind of risks does this pose (leaky cover). also, what spark plugs do you guys reccomend, ive heard iridium ngk's but the are expensive! i dont have aproblem spending the money if its going to make my car healthy, but just looking for some input form you guys. thanks

Use OEM NGK plugs (number is on the label on the under side of the hood) You don't need a new valve cover. What you need is a new valvecover GASKET! This part should be in stock at any auto parts store. It will come with the gaskets for the spark plug tubes. Try that. Should do the trick.

Come on guys, we've talked about this.......LOWER TUBE SEALS!!! These engines are notorious for this. You have to pull the rocker assembly off and replace the lower seals.
