Maple, you get he award for the longest thread title ever! Good idea though... Better get the OK from Steve first, since I don't know for sure if having a ton of people on here at once could affect the bandwidth restrictions... (and possibly cost him money)

yea, i have always thought the same thing about breaking that record. I always thought....how the hell did 58 people visit at one time? Especially that far back when there weren't as many members, now we almost have 800 which means would could easily break the record.

58 users... that were probably all guests, when we first started and were promoting the site everywhere.

the server would probably be able to handle lots of people on at once, but... i dunno if it would be worth the risk..

maybe to shoot for 100 would be cool... tell just a few people to come on that night... or to at least break 58... but i wouldn't try for 800... i would be scared for the bandwidth then!

Most users ever online was 311, 12-11-2004 at 09:44 PM.

Now we get about 80-90 on weekday nights, thats the norm...

breaking 300+ would be cool...
