Review:
This was my first set of springs. Coilover sleeves had left a bad taste in my mouth and so I figured springs would be my answer. After installation, the springs made the car sit as if it was poured over the wheels with a wheel gap I could even stick a piece of my finger in. This was lower than the Sports stated the drop would be. I had never seen H&R Sport springs drop any car this low. It was fantastic to look at but knew ride quality would suffer at that height so I adjusted the height via the Konis. It sat a little higher but after I rode around on them the springs settled back to a zero finger wheel gap all the way around. This height difference in spring setup made me realize that not all springs are created equal even amongst the same brand. Ride quality was very smooth but the springs were too soft for my liking and combined with the low sitting made the car bottom out on everything. Handling was no where near the Skunkworks coilovers and the body felt like it was swaying out every time i took a turn.
Pros:
Car looked great at that height and ride quality was better than my previous coil-over-sleeve setups.
Cons:
Car sat too low for road conditions and tended to bottom out a lot. I have seen other friends with the same springs and they all sit higher. I felt like I had Race springs in a Sport spring box. These springs were also too soft for the way I drive and made the car feel like it was going to roll over when i took turns.
