ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Not to mention the difference in bore size, which will result in detonation-inducing hot spots...
Plus, you can't make a G series using H and F parts. The G series has 5 cylinders.

when swapping the head, the combo will drop your compression to 8.4, which is even more sarcastically stupid
but with a m2a4 and a good you could make 174.6whp, something a stock pt3 head will NEVER accomplish
on PT3 pistons NEVERRRRR!!!
so yeah im with the stupid crowd on this one
sorry deev love u manLast edited by PR CB7; 11-28-2010, 03:21 PM.

At what RPM are you making that power?
With an H23 intake manifold, a cheap header with a 2.5" collector mod, a decent camshaft, and a proper tune, a PT3 head would make that power as well. AND it will be more reliable. I don't care what the power potential is... if you can't keep it going for very long, it's worthless. MOST hybrids fail in a relatively short period of time. If I recall, yours failed, right? And you're not exactly a noob like most people that ask about it...

yes it did, i guess after 2 years on the block, 2 f22 heads, one ported, and finnally the h22
4 8k rpm burnouts, she finally started smoking from the rings, the bottom end never game me a problem

i mean with the rate of idiots that read import tuner, publishing such a bad motor, and ive yet to see a f22 put out 175whp on a stock cam

Not on a stock cam, no... but even a $100 Delta 272 would make a big difference, and be far more reliable than most hybrids. 272 = $100. 2.5" collector mod and cheap header = about $200. P06 = $30, plus $20 for a chipping kit. H23 IM is about $75 in most cases. Then tuning costs whatever... For roughly $500, I'm sure that setup would make plenty of power.
Also, 174.6whp from an H22 head on an F22A block? Would you care to explain to me how a hybrid motor with CONSIDERABLY less compression than an H22 would make 10whp MORE than a stock H22?
That's like saying "Man, that NBA player sure can dunk... but let's chop his legs off at the knees. He'll be even better!"
