    yeah when we meet up i wanna check out ur rust fixage... i might just get it done there. im gonna get some local quotes first for getting rid of the rust and painting the whole car, the rust might cost less if i do it along with the paint, all at teh same shop... we will see.

    still excited about that interior swap... for those of u who dont know (probably everyone besides mauricio) im swapping interiors w/ his friend coco... getting rid of my navy blue and getting full gray i cant wait.

      yea i will ask da guy dat did mine and ask him how much to fix it just like mine n see if u only charges u 250 like me

      a quote holy shit i got a $1000.00 estimate to just fix my rust from this shop in town i was like wtf $500 for both sides and just leave it white wont paint the whole car i almost died and wanted to give up my car but then luckly i found the guy

        alright its been like forever since ive updated this thread. on my days off, if im at home bored, i usually do some DIY thing. kinda started with the blue LEDs. to ztech's suggestion, ill start posting up some pics and whatnot from now on, but this is to get everyone up to speed so here you go. please post up any comments or suggestions, i would really appreciate them.

            Wow man, your doing all this stuff to make your ride original and its costing you almost nothing. I love the gauge lights. Hope the paint stays on the chrome strips....did you sand it first? Also the grille lookin hot. Whens the H gettin dropped in?

              thanks man! about the chrome strips, they were sanded, primed, painted, and had a good deal of clearcoat put on. ill be doing the same to the chrome strip around my headlights, im gonna make them grey to match the grille.

              im swapping the h22 the moment it gets warm enough to work outside. AKA, spring... so i should have it ready before summer.

                    got it off ebay when i took the valve cover off i looked at the cams and whatnot, and everything looked fine, i borrowed a compression gauge from a friend, gonna be testing it soon. ill be pissed if i got a bad engine.
                    im going to be doing the swap myself.

                        I heard that...hope it turns out good man. Do you remember who the seller/company was? Also its a good thing you sanded and cleared the chrome, it should last a good while.

                          hey buddy nice car, i have an accord too but i guess everyone here does...where'd you get your jdm headlights....the only ones i've found cost between $400-$500 and i sure as hell am staying away from the eBay lights of doom

                              jay - seller was "monarch trading." they practically disappeared the same time he was supposed to ship my engine. it was a whole fiasco- if you see him, turn around and run.

                                did a little photoshop mockup of what my car should look like. the mouldings are painted, the car is lowered, and put on black rota slipstreams... comments?
