      some pictures i took today.

the car is still very dirty, and im looking forward to getting the new corner lights.

gotta clean the wheels and tires, too, theyve been sitting outside all summer.

also a couple nights ago i installed new outer tie rod ends and an Intrax anchor-style camber kit.

Damn Mike, it's looking pretty good!

I'm waiting for this to become a project car as well... Like Cisco, you'll have a "White" project and an... um... "White" project

That's a really nice looking EX. I'm curious how much you're going to sell it for, or more to the point, if you weren't selling it to your brother, how much you'd ask for it?

ooooh coupe alloys. me likes. the one and only thing i don't are the painted moldings. it's begging for contrast.

my guess would be peeling paint.

yes those black marks on the rear bumper are peeling paint. the car came with an erebuni sigma 129 rear lip that had some pretty serious gluetape holding it on. im going to mask around them and fill them with rattle paint eventually.

brought the car in for an alignment today with larry/oneoffaccord.

bought the Lifetime alignment so now the car is all straight and larry filled up my power steering and got me free wipers while it was there lmao.

the front upper control arms bang the inner fenders. tomorrow im going to grind them down to try to make room.

ive been a little uneasy about the new engine, since it had water in it and the cylinder walls got a little rusty. for a while i guess there was still PB Blaster in the cylinders which made it misfire and it was very hard to keep started (took 3-4 tries). since ive driven it and let it run more, its cleared up significantly and idles great, and feels totally normal! going to do one more compression test just to make sure.

                  oops

dudes trailer hitch punched a hole through the cover & foam. got out of our cars, shook hands, and left haha. support is untouched, just my headlight got knocked back out of alignment. gona track down a new bumper cover. this is a cosmetic blemish so i wont be dealing with it for quite a while, sometime before my brother takes the car in may.

...an excuse to find a better matched color

i went outside and worked on the car tonight after i got home today.

it was my first real opportunity to try out all the new tools i got:

cpmike has finally graduated to air

so i pulled the knuckle and replaced the front left lower ball joint, and both sway bar endlinks. it was a breeze.

mike, referring back to when your bumper got hit...

do you think that an aftermarket reinforcement and bumper cover could make a gap between the bumper and the headlights?

it was a beautiful day outside today so i took some time to straighten out the front end a little bit more.

i tried my best with a backyard-style headlight adjustment. the aim was way off (i got flashed a lot by people thinking i had my highbeams on) so now they both look straighter, as well as have a much better beam pattern.

i also installed new clear corners with amber bulbs.

can you spot the electrical tape bodywork? :P

made sure i got the ones that had the reflectors!!

my dad bought a new set of goodyear tires for the original wheels, they will be put back on for when my brother starts driving the car, because im taking my coupe alloys back.

So I never updated this thread, but just for completeness' sake:

With the new sedan alloys and tires put on, the car went to my brother. He drove it for 2-3 years without any major problems, besides an exhaust leak and some increasing rust. The tint continued to purple and the rear window was bubbling and peeling more and more, but the car overall still looked pretty nice throughout its life.

My brother ended up getting a great deal on a 6th gen V6 with leather, so he opted to move up to that, and sold this CB7 to some random guy. No clue where it is now, but my brother still to this day says that the CB7 was nicer and built better than his newer Accord, or any of the cars he has come in personal contact with since owning the CB. He says nothing quite had the same solid door closure feel, satisfying responsiveness of the dashboard controls, and "just right" sizing as the CB7 did. That says it all!!!!
