i just finished a H22 cover, an hour ago, I'm at work but I'll have photos later tonight..
I love the outcome, my first attempt at this design and i like it alot.
I had seen some fou finishes for house painting, as i am venition plastering my walls, and i had seen some granit stone and black and white marble, it inspired this cover, and i am verry pleased with it's out come since it's my first attempt.
these photos are not edited, these are just differnt lightings to help see the cover as i see it.
here's one i just finished. the paint is satin black.
i shaved pretty much everything on it and cut the cam cover off.
the satin finish was modified for contrasts.
there's the untouched satin how it comes out of the can (primary finish)
then there's the brushed finish done with steel wool (top)
and finally, the polished stripe. it was wet sanded with 2000g and polished with a polishing compound.
heres mine. flat white and flat black thinkin about clearing it all but idk
