9 times out of 10 the squirters will need to be bent. sometimes its a pain in the ass to get them bent just right too, but its doable. Balancing is key wether or not its an H23 crank or an H22. ...

yeah.. we're talkin an oem S2000 right? I've measured one, its 62mm at the blade on the manifold side and tapers to like 66mm at the opening. Nearly identical to the ITR tb's.

Any chance the vac hose you bought just isnt strong enough? It may be collapsing if its not the right size or whatever, iirc the stock hose is pretty stout.

With just a head change it looks like you would go all the way down to 9.3:1 compression.

h22 head + h22 pistons is gonna be about 11.1:1 which is a pretty good place to be.

One more thing, I've never bought into the whole you can't rev an H23 as high as an H22. Thats complete crap. If you want to rev either of them past the 7-8k range it should be balanced...
